Lights, Camera, Action, Truth

Exciting, funny, poignant, insightful, and unique are all words put into action by people who often want to avoid their truth.  How enjoyable it can be to watch a theatrical performance of someone acting out scenes of life woven together for our attention.  We become engaged to a point where we, the audience, forget that this is real life, not actors playing a part.  The information being shared tumbles at us wildly and frenetically; overwhelming us until we feel paralyzed.  We become lost in the “play” rather than engaging in “real life”.

For many people, getting to their truth is a terrifying thought.  Therefore they will use all kinds of gyrations to avoid looking at their own lives.  The struggle one faces in life only helps to color future incarnations of self.  It is up to all of us to assist each other in examining the “broad-brush” portraits of self.  That, often, is the only way some people will ever get to their own truth.

Maximize the leverage you have with those closest to you.  Provide education where needed.  Supportively help people to see that their truth can be a wonderful benefit to their lives.  When we can improve lives and environments for ourselves and others the world opens up in ways that are amazing.  Don’t we all deserve that?

Stop the “acting” and start the “real life” – there is no time like the present.  Life is way too short to be “acting out”.  Enjoy your life every possible moment with truth and openness; void of addiction, anger and unhealthy behaviors.  It is up to you to make that happen consistently.

“Some people think that the truth can be hidden with a little cover-up and decoration. But as time goes by, what is true is revealed, and what is fake fades away.” – Ismail Haniyeh
