A Life Out of Balance

July 22, 2012Friendship, Meditation and Addiction
We enter life with nothing more than hope and promise – and exit carrying the memories of our friends. I am so fortunate that I get to work with some of my best friends. You see, a friend believes in you even when the rest of the world does not. Even when an addiction comes into your life in some fashion, your friends will be there to support you through the hard times. Friendship is expressed in compassionate acts and loving kindness. Friendship is that voice in your heart that tells you all is well, that you are guarded and guided, and that you should feel no fear. Even the wisest person alive would be a fool to avoid friendship. So let this meditation help you and your friends today: “Love heals. Love flows to those I know. Love is exchanged and we are healed. So be it!” Let us all work to do for our friends what Lowell Thomas states:
Do a little more each day than you think you possibly can.
